Make 2018 a year of constructive engagement! Come to our monthly meeting Wed Jan 17 at the Peace and Justice Center to find out what you can do.

January 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Interested in promoting environmental legislation? Want to learn more about what 350 Sonoma and 350 Bay Area are doing to promote policies that combat climate change? We are very lucky to have the guidance, expertise, and hard work of 350 Bay Area’s legislative committee, a state-wide leader in grassroots organizing to support key CA climate legislation. Come hear one of the leaders of the legislative team explain the ins and outs of the legislative process in California as well as strategies for getting SB 100, for 100% clean energy by 2045, passed this session. Are you interested in presenting Zero Waste protocols to children or community groups?  Do you want to build a bioreactor and make compost that is effective at one pound per acre? Do you want to rebuild wisely or share the word about regenerative agriculture’s capacity to put excess atmospheric carbon back in the soil? Do you want to raise funds to support our ongoing work on all these projects?  We welcome you to our first organizing meeting of the year and invite you to share your ideas and to help us take up this hopeful and necessary work.
