Remember and Protect: Climate Fire Mural Commemorates 6 Months Since North Bay Fire

April 28 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Come help create a mural from charcoal and ash from the fire, and red clay from the ground near the river in Napa. We will remember the impacts of the fire and call for solutions to protect us and future generations from climate change that super-charged the wildfires.

350.org is planning this event in conjunction with the 3rd annual Napa Valley Healing Walk, an all-day walk, that will finish at the mural site.  While creating the mural we will hear from Rebecca Solnit, author of

A Paradise Built in Hell: The Extraordinary Communities That Arise in Disaster,’ Antonia Juhasz, author and investigative journalist and May Boeve, 350.org Executive Director. Then the Healing Walk closing ceremony will include Aztec dance group Calpulli Nanahuatzin and indigenous, farmworker and community leaders.
