A Repair Café is a gathering in which volunteers repair household electrical and mechanical devices, jewelry, computers, bicycles, musical instruments, toys, clothing, etc. It is organized by and for local community members. Its objectives are to reduce waste, to maintain repair skills and to strengthen social cohesion. The event is free and open to the public. A lively, interactive training on how to follow bills through the legislative process, meet with legislators, write support letters, and help pass climate legislation. Join fellow students to learn and practice skills needed to influence California climate legislation and to prepare your group presentation for Climate Action Night in April.
